Fixed Lifeline Systems.
Permanent fall arrest lifelines that let workers move freely while staying connected — designed for your roof or structure, installed and certified by 828.
Permanent horizontal, vertical, overhead and rail-type lifelines.
A fixed lifeline is a cable or rail permanently attached to a roof, steel beam or framework, giving workers a continuous anchorage line wherever they need to go. Instead of moving from one anchor to the next, the worker clips on once and travels the full length of the system.
828 designs each lifeline around the structure it is fixed to: roof profile, span lengths, number of users and the clearance available below. We supply horizontal, vertical, overhead and rail-type systems from Groxx Gears, Tractel (Travsmart, Travsafe, Travrail) and KStrong (IMPACT™ engineered systems).
- Continuous tie-off along the full work area
- Roof-specific fixings: standing seam, metal sheet, hot deck and green roofs
- Multi-user systems with energy absorbers to protect the structure
- Rail option in anodised aluminium (AlMgSi0.5) that resists marine environments
- Design, installation, testing and annual inspection from one team
- Full documentation for audits and insurers
📍 Site surveys, installation and inspection nationwide — Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Horizontal Lifeline
Cable systems along roofs and elevated walkways, giving hands-free travel past intermediate brackets.

Vertical Lifeline
Cable or rail with a guided fall arrester for ladders, towers and climbing structures.

Overhead Lifeline
Mounted above the worker on beams or ceilings — ideal where there is no roof structure to fix to, such as loading bays.

Rail-Type Lifeline
Rigid aluminium rail for fall arrest and abseiling. European-made rail certified to EN 795:2012 Class D.

Common Questions.
Do you design the system or only supply components?
Both. 828 surveys the site, designs the layout and anchor positions, supplies the components (including the Groxx Gears range) and installs, tests and certifies the finished system. Supply-only orders are also available for contractors with their own installers.
How often does a fall protection system need inspection?
Permanent systems should be inspected at least once a year by a competent person, and after any fall event or structural change. 828 offers scheduled inspection contracts with written reports and re-certification.
Can you work on an occupied or operating facility?
Yes. We plan installation around your operations, with permits, method statements and our own temporary fall protection in place while the permanent system is being installed.
What documents do we receive at handover?
As-built layout drawings, component certificates (including the Groxx Certificate of Compliance), installation and test records, user instructions and the recommended inspection schedule.
